The Kempenfelt Community Players Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on Thursday, June 19 at 7:00 PM. The meeting is held at the KCP rehearsal space, 481 Welham Rd in Barrie. The meeting is where the KCP Board of Directors and KCP members review the past KCP season and all its highlights. It is also where they review the upcoming season and vote in new members of the Board of Directors.
The meeting is a chance for the entire KCP organization to come together and share ideas. We want as many voices to be heard as possible.
Every year 8 of 9 positions for the KCP Board of Directors come up for election. All KCP members who have paid their fees or have volunteered 10 or more hours throughout the season are eligible to vote. If you are a volunteer you must ensure your name is on the membership list to be included in the voting process.
The positions which are up for election are Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and there are 4 positions of Members at Large. It is important to continuously include new persons in the Board of Directors to ensure a constant flow of new ideas and creativity. The Board of Directors oversee and co-ordinate all aspects of KCP.
