YOUTH PRODUCTION – Alice in Wonderland Jr.
Step into the wacky world of Wonderland in this vibrant new retelling of a Disney classic! With an updated script and score made specifically for today’s young performers and audiences.

The deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest is Sunday April 20.
Interviews will follow in end of April.
General Information about the Production and Timelines:
• Running time of show is approx. 60 mins with no intermission
• Cast members between the ages of 10 and 18 years. (For a cast of approximately 25 performers)
• Auditions are typically held in June (KCP is moving to the format of including individual audition times for ALL cast applicants. Additional ensemble audition time can be included as the Artistic Team decides)
• Rehearsals are September to tech week in November
• Typically, rehearsals are 3 days a week (2 weekday rehearsals – often 4:30 to 7pm, and Sunday afternoons) *NOTE: If the Artistic team has other options they would like to present, they are welcome to express these.
• Tech week begins with Nov. 15th move-in to Georgian Theatre. Show closes on Nov. 23rd.
School matinee shows run during the week, with public shows beginning Friday evening.
*NOTE: The directing team is not required to be present at school performances as the production is turned over to the Stage Manager.

Youth Company – Expressions of Interest Due by Sunday April 20.
We are interested in knowing the following:
• Leadership role(s) of interest
• Your skill set and experience you can bring to the project
• Any additional team members you bring with your proposal *NOTE: Do you have people you would like to work with and present as a team? Director, MD, Choreographer, Set designer, Set construction, Costumes, Stage manager etc? Not required, but we are open to
discussions around what may work best for you.

FULL COMPANY PRODUCTION – Cinderella (Broadway Version)
From Rodgers & Hammerstein – An adaptation of the classic musical with new characters, a hilarious libretto and surprising twists!
The deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest is Sunday April 20.
Interviews will follow in end of April.
General Information on Production Timelines & other details
• Full Company Cast size is a minimum 25 members to a maximum of 30. (Minimum age for cast members is 17, or currently in their last year of high school)
• Auditions are typically in the fall (i.e. September) with rehearsals beginning sometime in October or beginning of November (determined by the Artistic Team’s planning of time required to meet tech week)
• Rehearsals are typically 2 weekday evenings and Sunday evenings. Sunday afternoons are added/determined by the Artistic Team with show Producer NOTE: Some rehearsal timing
will need to work around the Youth show, especially during their final rehearsal week leading to move-in to the theatre.
• Tech week: move into Georgian Theatre on Jan. 28th
• Show runs for 2 weeks beginning Thurs. Feb. 5th (Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun – with 2 shows on Saturday: matinee and evening, and a matinee on Sundays) Final performance is Sun. Feb. 15th at 2pm. (total of 10 public performances with an option to add 1 school matinee
performance)
• Other details: Due to the nature of the instrumentation for this production, there option to involve live musical accompaniment or performance tracks. The Music Director typically assembles the required instrumentation/musicians when having live accompaniment.
