THE CABARET SERIES – April 24-26, 2026

Show 1 – Just Getting Started – April 24th 8pm

A musical journey about first steps, opening moments, and songs that feel like the start of something new. Featuring material from the Golden Age, contemporary Broadway, and everything in between.

Show 2 – Coming Of Age (Youth Cabaret) – April 25th 1pm

A showcase featuring youth performers ages 12–18, highlighting emerging talent and young voices. Coming of age stories and songs, sibling rivalry, personal growth and identity, dreams, etc.

Show 3 – Broadway After Dark – April 25th 8pm

A bold, edgy, and raunchy cabaret exploring Broadway’s darker, sexier, and more provocative material. Songs for when the lights go down *Age requirement: 19+ only This performance will include adult themes and language.

Show 4 – Come Together – April 26th 2pm

A celebratory cabaret bringing all performers together, spanning generations, styles, mentorship pairings, ensemble numbers, and top hits from the past 3 shows.

AUDITION NOTICE

Cabaret Night Series – April 24th-26th at The Five Points Theatre

Deadline – March 8th, 2026

We are seeking performers for an exciting four-show cabaret series celebrating music theatre in all its forms — from classic to contemporary, heartfelt to unapologetically bold.

This is a performer-driven cabaret series. Solo selections will be submitted and brought to the table by those auditioning, with additional opportunities for small group numbers.

The series is curated by Renée Cingolani & Noah Hollinshead.

Acts per evening

10-min set per act

(2–3 songs). Mix of solos, duets, trios, etc.

A mix of live piano accompaniment and self-accompanied performances

A pre-determined theme that shapes each performer’s song choices

A relaxed, community-focused atmosphere between KCP’s mainstage productions

Performers are selected via a screened audition or invitation process coordinated by Renée Cingolani (music lead) and Noah Hollinshead (coordinator).
